You don't actually need much:
- A Sony Playstation 3 Bluetooth Remote (aka BDRemote)
- A Microsoft Windows © computer (works fine with XP SP3, Seven RC, other are untested at this point)
- Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5
- A Bluetooth dongle (only if your computer does not have a buildin Bluetooth chip)
- Open the Bluetooth devices from the control panel
- Add a device
- Hold down Enter and Start on the remote for, like, 5 seconds to begin the pairing
- Check "My device is set up and ready to be found" and "Next"
- Wait until it finishes the search, then select "BD Remote Control" and click "Next"
- Select "Don't use a passkey" and click "Next"
- Wait
- Click "Finish"
- Your "BD Remote Control" should now show up in the devices list, click "Ok" or start over if it does not
